Jobs co-founded Apple at age 21, and was worth millions by age 23. He recruited an experienced Fortune 500 CEO, John Sculley–and three years later, Sculley fired him. “I didn’t see it then, but it turned out that getting fired from Apple was the best thing that could have ever happened to me,” Jobs said in 2005.
